Chelsea are still targeting deals to strengthen the frontline before the end of the summer transfer window.

So far, Raheem Sterling remains the only forward player Chelsea have signed this summer.

According to reports, Chelsea are targeting 25-year-old Porto winger Pepe.

According to Portuguese outlet Record, Chelsea are one of the clubs to have enquired about Pepe.

Pepe emerged at Porto last season, after Porto sold Luis Diaz to Liverpool.

Following the departure of Diaz, Pepe became the star man as he impressed during the second half of the season.

Before joining Porto, Pepe had spent all his career at Brazil – making him barley untested on the big stage in Europe

Pepe has only played one season at the top level, after spending most of his career in Brazil, but Porto value him at €70m nevertheless.

If Chelsea go on to sign him for that amount, it will go down as a risky deal for a player who has only spent a short time in Europe.
