Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been handed a second charge by the English Football Association on Monday following his remarks about referee Anthony Taylor.

Tuchel was critical of Anthony Taylor as he said “maybe it would be better” if Anthony Taylor did not referee Chelsea games again.

The FA has concluded its investigation into Tuchel’s comments and has charged him with improper conduct through either implying bias, questioning a referee’s integrity or bringing the game into disrepute.

Tuchel has since been hit with a fine of £35,000 and a suspended one-match touchline ban.

The FA launched a formal investigation last Monday and Wembley chiefs have now confirmed: “Thomas Tuchel has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 in relation to comments that he made after Chelsea FC’s Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur FC on Sunday 14 August 2022.

“It is alleged that the manager’s comments in his post-match press conference constitute improper conduct as contrary to FA Rule E3.1 they imply bias and/or question the integrity of the match referee, and/or bring the game into disrepute.

“Thomas Tuchel has until Thursday 25 August 2022 to provide a response to this charge.”

  2. Chelsea need striker. They should make chance of young talented prayers. Somebody like Broja. Our scout team should go to Dutch League for scouting, there are talented players over there.

  3. Our Team needs good bench so that good subtitution can be made. I don’t understand why our prayers like Odoi, Pulsic, Chalobah etc links with others Teams. If all these prayers leave this moment, what is the weight of the bench?.We have to plan well to compete with every Team in this planet.
