Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana was left out of the Leicester City squad that lost 2-1 to Southampton on Saturday.
Fofana is trying to force away a move due to Chelsea’s interest, with Brendan Rodgers admitting he wasn’t in the “right frame of mind” to play against the Saints.
Fofana was in attendant at the King Power Stadium as he watched his teammates play.
Sitting next to his girlfriend, the young defender was left unmoved when James Maddison scored for the Foxes, while supporters around him celebrated.
Captioning the clip, the Foxes fan wrote: “Fofana overjoyed at Maddison’s goal just now.”
Brendan Rodgers was asked about Fofana’s situation over the weekend.
Asked if Fofana would be disappointed if he stays back at the King Power, Rodgers said: “I’m not sure. It all depends on the player. You can’t always say for definite how it’s going to be.
“For some players when the window shuts it’s a good moment because they can totally focus on playing again and getting on with their careers.
“Some players may feel they have lost the opportunity of a dream. They may just never be the same so that’s always the danger.”
