All is now set for Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri to join West Ham United.

The deal for the Italy international was reported to have broken down earlier this week, but both clubs have finally reached an agreement.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both teams have agreed on a fee that could rise up to £15m.

Romano tweeted: “Emerson Palmieri deal is fully agreed between clubs since yesterday, £13m fixed fee plus £2m add-ons. There are still things to discuss on player side.

“Discussions ongoing between all the parties to complete the agreement.”

Emerson was deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea, following the signing of Marc Cucurella.

Marcos Alonso is also expected to leave Chelsea this summer, and the duo of Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella would compete for the left wing-back slot.
