Chelsea had a meeting with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s camp on Thursday over a transfer move.

Aubameyang has been linked with a summer transfer move to Chelsea, and the Blues camp held a meeting with the representatives of Aubameyang on Thursday.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has shared updates on Chelsea’s negotiations with Pierre Aubameyang and Barca.

According to Romano, the meeting on Thursday was very positive:

“Pierre Aubameyang update. Been told meeting with Chelsea on Thursday night was ‘very positive’, personal terms won’t be an issue.

“Chelsea and Auba’s camp are on the same page about contract. It’s now time for talks with Barça – €30m price tag considered too high.”

With Chelsea having agreed personal terms with Aubameyang, the Blues only need to reach terms with Barcelona, and the deal will be a done deal.

Chelsea’s initial bid believed to be around £15m was rejected by Barca last week, and it’s been reported that Chelsea and Barcelona could agree for a fee worth over £23m.
