A supercomputer simulation by sports betting app SBK has predicted its table for the 2022-23 season.

As expected, it backed Manchester City to win the league. The computer then backed Liverpool for second place.

Tottenham were backed to finish above Chelsea in 3rd, and Chelsea to finish the season in 4th.

Not many pundits believe Chelsea would have a good season. Many have even tipped Antonio Conte’s men to finish above Chelsea.

However, after a dominant Chelsea display against Spurs over the weekend, Spurs midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who scored Spurs opening goal, admitted that Chelsea are up there at a high level with Manchester City and Liverpool.

The midfielder told Viaplay: “It’s always very difficult to come here [Stamford Bridge]. For me, they are at the same level as Manchester City and Liverpool.

“When they are in the flow, they really play aggressive, dynamic football and it is something that is very difficult to stand against. It’s a very very good team but again, we also want to be a very good team.”
