Manchester United legends Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville have been very critical of Chelsea’s transfer dealings this summer.
Rio Ferdinand recently said Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel must be unhappy at the club following the club’s recruitment this summer.
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Thomas Tuchel doesn’t seem happy with the situation at Chelsea, as he is yet to get all his transfer signings.
“They seem out of sorts, the comments from the manager, he’s not happy, he doesn’t seem happy with the way the recruitment has gone,” Ferdinand told Vibe with FIVE.
“Not been able to get the players in, a lot of players want to get out.
“Chelsea didn’t look like a team that was running fluid [against Everton]. They looked a little bit all over the place. You could see the frustration after, he wasn’t happy with the way that they played.
“It’s the environment at the training ground. There’s a lot of players who want to leave, they’ve been very open about that they don’t want to be there. [Timo] Werner’s going to Leipzig, [Marcos] Alonso’s going to Barcelona.”
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, has however insisted he is more than satisfied with the players Todd Boehly has managed to sign.
According to Tuchel, the duo of Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly, are world-class players.
Tuchel told Soccer AM: “I’m not happy, I’m super happy. These two guys are fantastic guys and fantastic football players.
“They are exactly what we need so this is brilliant to have Kalidou in defence and Raheem in offence is top, top signings.”
