Gary Neville has been critical of Chelsea’s transfer strategy this summer, and the Manchester United legend has hit out at the Blues again.
Chelsea have signed up Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Carney Chukwuemeka and Marc Cucurella this summer, and the Blues are being linked with some more names.
Gary Neville has insisted that Chelsea are all over the place in the transfer market, and has advised the club to sign a new striker.
“There are still questions over Chelsea,” Gary Neville said on Sky Sports.
“Tuchel has been a little bit critical [in pre-season]. Maybe I’m doubting them too much, but I just feel as though they’re not quite smooth, not quite satisfied. It feels as though [the ownership change] has been difficult for the squad and the manager.
“They’ve had all these events to deal with, so you feel a bit less sure about Chelsea.”
Gary Neville was left unimpressed by Chelsea’s performance against Everton and insists that Chelsea need a new striker.
“The transfer strategy seems a bit pinball-like,” he added.
“Your head keeps moving and you’re not sure where they’re going to move next. They need a centre forward.”
