After one season at the club, Thomas Tuchel decided it was time to let go of Romelu Lukaku.
The big Belgian struggled on his return to the Premier League, and returned back to Inter Milan after just one season.
Thomas Tuchel has now admitted that he prefers to play with fluid players in attack, rather than with a bulky player.
Ahead of the Premier League game against Everton, the Chelsea manager has revealed that he’d be playing with a fluid frontline like Manchester City and Liverpool.
“If we play in the same structure with our three offensive players, I think it will be very fluid,” Tuchel said in his press conference.
“Liverpool and Man City showed that it’s possible to be very successful with a fluid type of offensive player in the number nine position.
“It can be Kai, it can be Raheem, it can be Timo Werner, it can also be Armando Broja who is now in the squad so different profiles and different ways of playing.”
