Chelsea’s move to sign Marc Cucurella is set to be confirmed by the club, as he completed his medical on Thursday.

Reports by Fabrizio Romano shows that Chelsea have spent more than the first reported £50m transfer fee to sign up the Spaniard.

Chelsea reportedly paid a fee that could rise up to £62m – £55m initial fee, with £7m in add-ons.

With Levi Colwill joining Brighton on loan and no longer on a permanent deal, the Seagulls opted to get a lot from Chelsea.

Chelsea paying so much for Cucurella is now a cause for concern among fans and critics.

What do yo think about Cucurella’s transfer fee?
