Chelsea’s latest transfer updates

It has been a busy summer transfer window for Chelsea, and everything is now beginning to fall in place, as Thomas Tuchel is getting the deals he wants ahead of the start of the new season.

For outgoing deals, Malang Sarr is set for a move on loan to Monaco. The French side will have an option to buy the defender for around €12m next summer.

Chelsea defender Levi Colwill will make a switch to Brighton, with Brighton star Marc Cucurella expected to make a move to Chelsea.

Growing reports have it that Marcos Alonso will move to Barcelona, following Chelsea’s signing of Marc Cucurella.

According to Catalan news outlet Diario Sport, the 31-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the La Liga side after a meeting between his agent and Barca’s sporting director Mateu Alemani.

It’s yet to be seen if Chelsea would let Cesar Azpilicueta move to Barcelona.

In midfield, Chelsea are strongly being linked with Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong. The Athletic reports that Chelsea are ‘optimistic’ that they will strike the deal for the Barcelona midfielder.

In attack, recent reports have it that Chelsea would make a move for a striker this summer. The Blues are now being linked with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and RB Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko.
