According to reports, Brighton have kept Marc Cucurella away from first-team training.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had claimed Cucurella was set to be in London on Thursday morning together with his agents to finalise terms.

The transfer expert had said Cucurella to Chelsea was a done deal.

But Brighton responded: “Contrary to inaccurate reports from numerous media outlets this evening, no agreement has been reached with any club to sell Marc Cucurella.”

Meanwhile, the Seagulls no longer see Cucurella as a Brighton player.

Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that Marc Cucurella is currently in London and he’s now undergoing medical tests with Chelsea.

After the medicals and necessary documents signed, Cucurella to Chelsea will be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Cucurella has signed a new contract with Chelsea until June 2028.
