Medicals completed. Chelsea set to announce third signing of the summer

According to reports we brought over the weekend, Chelsea have reached an agreement with MLS team Chicago Fire for U.S. youth international goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina for a base fee of $10 million that could rise to $15m with add-ons.

The deal was subject to medical, as Slonina was slated to arrive London for medical.

The medical was however done on Monday night, and a deal has been agreed with MLS club Chicago Fire for the transfer.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Slonina has signed a contract until 2028 and Chelsea will pay Chicago Fire $15m plus add-ons for the talented keeper.

He will stay with the MLS team on loan for their current season.

Fabrizio Romano has given the famous ‘Here we Go’ for the signing of American goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina to Chelsea.

The young goalkeeper has lit up the MLS with his performances for Chicago Fire.

Slonina was born in the US but is of Polish descent and is rated very highly in the United States.
