Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva has spent two years at Chelsea, after leaving PSG as a free agent in 2020.
Silva, now 37, won multiple league titles during his time with PSG. Upon signing for Chelsea, the Brazilian has won the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup.
Chelsea finished third in the league last season, and will play in the Champions League this season.
Silva has however said that he isn’t thinking of a top four finish this time, but his ambition is to win the Premier League.
“To win the Premier League,” Silva told the official Chelsea website. “It’s a very difficult league to play in, but I think it’s possible.
“We have to do things well now during the week before the start of the Premier League,” the Brazilian added.
“I think we are not at 100 per cent quite yet, but we must work hard and well this week to arrive ready for Saturday.”
