After a disastrous 4-0 outing against Arsenal, Chelsea were back to the good in the pre-season clash against Udinese.

It was a comfortable victory for Chelsea, as the Blues dominated the game from start to finish.

Goals from N’Golo Kante, Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount gave Chelsea a comfortable 3-1 victory away at Udinese.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was pleased with his side’s performance this time around.

“Yeah we trained a lot this week, especially two days ago so we did not have the freshest legs,” Tuchel told Chelsea club media.

“But we have a lot of positive things to take away from this game, I think. It’s a good performance, good result. We could have scored much more, should have scored much more but there’s a lot of positive stuff to take away.”

Chelsea’s Premier League season gets underway on Saturday 6 August away to Everton at the Goodison Park, and Chelsea will play one more pre-season game against Udinese on Saturday morning.

Tuchel explained: “Tomorrow we play another match here with another team to have the minutes in our legs, then two days break and we prepare nothing but Everton.”
