Thomas Tuchel fielded a team of 16 players that defeated Udinese 3-1 away at the Dacia Arena on Friday evening.

The Blues boss fielded another set of players for another round of game with Udinese on Saturday morning, this time behind closed doors.

It was yet another fine and dominant Chelsea performance, as the Blues won 2-0.

Mateo Kovacic captained the team, while Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah, Ziyech and Christian Pulisic also started. Loftus-Cheek and Armando Broja played their first pre-season game, and it was Loftus-Cheek who was the star of the show.

Loftus-Cheek who played at right wing-back scored the opener just before half-time, as he deftly lifted a ball over Padelli, following a wonderful pass from Mateo Kovacic.

In the 56th minute, Hakim Ziyech converted from the spot after Loftus-Cheek was fouled in the box.
