With Chelsea having lost out in a move for Jules Kounde, the Blues are now chasing other targets.
According to reports, Chelsea have turned attention to Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Italian media outlet Calciomercato, has claimed that Inter Milan are open to selling a few of their stars, and the Milan club want at least €70 million for Skriniar.
However, Chelsea are said to consider Skriniar’s valuation at around €50 million as both clubs try to reach a middle ground.
The Slovakian international has a year left on his deal with Inter Milan, yet Inter value him at €70 million.
PSG and Tottenham have fruitlessly tried to sign Skriniar, and Chelsea are the latest to go for the 27-year-old centre-back.
Chelsea are also being linked with 21-year-old Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana. But this is one move that may be difficult to pull following Fofana’s high valuation by Leicester City.
