Chelsea have finally made a decision on club youngster Armando Broja.
Broja has been linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer, with West Ham having placed a £30m bid for the 20-year-old striker.
According to reports, Chelsea have finally decided that Broja won’t be leaving the club anymore.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea won’t be letting go of Broja this summer.
With the Blues yet to sign a striker, this will be a very good move for Chelsea, as the young striker showed on loan last season with Southampton, that he’s growing into a top striker.
Romano said: “Chelsea, still not accepting any official bid for Armando Broja as of now. Tuchel insists in keeping the player, not happy with potential permanent transfer – after West Ham’s £30m proposal rejected 10 days ago.
“More talks on Chelsea side will take place soon.”
Former Chelsea right-back Glen Johnson has told Chelsea that it’s time to give Armando Broja a chance, rather than going for another big money signing.
Glen Johnson said: “I think Chelsea are going to be reluctant to spend scary money again considering what happened with the Romelu Lukaku signing.
“If it was up to me, then I’d give Armando Broja a chance rather than spending £80 million on a replacement.
“I’d rather get it wrong with a player that I’ve already got, rather than get it wrong by spending £80 million.
“Broja is technically good in front of goal, but I don’t know how good he is yet. He did score some fantastic goals for Southampton but, let’s face it, Southampton aren’t Chelsea.
“He’s going to get more goal scoring opportunities at Chelsea and he’s technically good enough to score more next season.”
Chelsea are not serious with anything this season.
I really don’t think it’s ideal for Chelsea to want to sell Armando Broja….Just like the Chelsea legend(Glen Johnson) said in his speech, it’s better you get it wrong with the players you have than getting it wrong with the player or players that you have spent huge amount of money on….So,I think it’s better we stick to what we have than going for what could bring us shame…..An example of it is the likes of Lukaku…
Good decision
Try him this season n see than spending too much money on players that will bring broken ❤️ to us
