We are barely two weeks into the start of the new Premier League season.
The permutations have already begun; who will win the league, who will make top four, and the number of points a team will amass.
FiveThirtyEight’s Super Computer, has come up with their mathematical algorithm that has predicted the winner of the Premier League in the upcoming season.
According to the super computer, Manchester City will win the league – giving Pep Guardiola’s team a 46% chance of clinching the title.
Liverpool were tipped to finish second, with a 30% probability of winning the title.
Chelsea were given a 11% chance to win the league, and were tipped for third place, while Tottenham have a 5% likelihood of becoming league champions, and they were given 4th.
The algorithm went on calculate the top six teams and the number of points they’d likely amass.
