Chelsea would play their final game in the US in a pre-season friendly against Arsenal in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The game will be played at the Camping World Stadium, Orlando.

Arsenal seem to be in better pre-season form, and their summer signing from Manchester City, Gabriel Jesus, has been very impressive.

Football pundit Paul Merson has warned that Gabriel Jesus could pose serious problems for Chelsea.

“It’s still early in pre-season but Gabriel Jesus has been the game-changer already,” Merson wrote in the Daily Star.

“He scores goals. He makes things happen. That’s what he’s in the team for. I know it’s only pre-season but you want him to settle quickly.

“It’s a different level of game coming up, against Chelsea this weekend.”

Paul Merson is expecting a slow tempo game, as he fears Arsenal and Chelsea will struggle to perform in the Orlando humidity in their pre-season meeting on Saturday night.

“I’m going to that game,” he continued.

“But the heat is so stifling here it could be like a testimonial. I wouldn’t expect too much. It won’t be like a Premier League games, all blood and thunder.

“So we won’t be able to draw too many conclusions. I still think Arsenal need a top, top quality midfield player. That would make a big difference.”
