Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is keen on leaving the club this summer, after playing second fiddle to Edouard Mendy for the past two years.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to be offered a route out of Chelsea this summer, with Napoli showing interest in the Spain international.

Kepa is still the world’s most expensive goalkeeper, after a £71.6 million move from Athletic Bilbao in 2018.

Chelsea are also eager to get his £190,000-a-week wages off their books, but offers for Kepa haven’t been much.

According to the Evening Standard, Napoli are the club with the strongest interest in Kepa this summer, and Chelsea are keen on cashing out.

Kepa is keen on leaving this summer, in order to get some playing time with hopes of making the Spanish national squad for the World Cup in November.

Kepa was absent in Chelsea’s previous friendly against Club America, and it brought rumours about his future.

Kepa only made 4 Premier League appearances last season, and featured in 15 games in all competitions.

Kepa has told Thomas Tuchel that he wants more playing time, and may have to leave the club if he can’t get it at Chelsea.

“Obviously, I want to play more,” Kepa said last month.

“It’s true that he’s choosing another teammate [Mendy] and that’s what I’m trying to change in my day-to-day life. I want to play and that’s what I train and prepare for.

“Right now I’m a Chelsea player, but what is clear to me is that I want to play more, because I’ve come from a year or two where, when I’ve played, I’ve had great performances.×320&!8&btvi=6&fsb=1&xpc=5IsS87X33X&p=https%3A// “For that reason, for the good performances I’ve had, the feeling is that I want more. I want to play more. I’m at Chelsea and I want to succeed here. And if I can’t, we would look at different things, because my clear objective is to play.

“I’m not desperate. At the end of the day, I’m at a very big club. I will talk to the coach and we will decide, but with the clear message that I want to play more.”
