Chelsea defender Levi Colwill is believed to be pushing for a move away from Chelsea.
Reports claim Colwill may choose to leave this summer, if the club goes on to sign three centre-backs.
Chelsea have signed Kalidou Koulibaly, and the Blues are being linked with two more centre-backs to fill the void in defence.
Colwill who impressed me loan last season with Huddersfield, is now contemplating his future at the club.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, is backing Colwill to stay back at the club and insists he’s yet to make a decision on the young defender because he hasn’t seen much of him.
When asked about Colwill’s situation, an honest Tuchel said during his press conference on Tuesday: “With Levi it’s too early to give an answer.
“Everything I would say now I would maybe have to take back or give another opinion in some weeks.
“Simply, I haven’t seen enough of him in our group because unfortunately he got a little injury and was out of training for several days.
“And once you’re out for several days in pre-season it takes a while to catch up again, especially for players who are not used to training at that kind of level like Levi.
“The fact he’s still here is very easy, we don’t know him enough so he needs to stay here, we need to have further impressions, we need more impressions of him to get a better outlook on the situation.
“He had a good spell on loan, and we need to think carefully at the end of pre-season what’s best for him.
“I can only repeat, like Trevoh Chalobah did last season and Malang Sarr, everybody is invited to do the same, this is the same situation for Levi.”
