Chelsea striker Armando Broja is pushing for an exit from Chelsea this summer.

The 20-year-old wants to be a key player next season after a fine season on loan with Southampton, and he doesn’t see that happening at Chelsea.

The Hammers are understood to have tabled a £30m offer to Chelsea for Broja, which includes an upfront payment of £25m plus an additional £5m in bonuses.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed a series of tweets revealing that a deal is imminent, but Chelsea are yet to give their final say.

Reports however claim that Chelsea would sanction a sale only if the deal has a buyback clause.

Romano tweeted: “West Ham and Chelsea are still in talks on final details of the deal like potential buy back clause or not, add ons… but the agreement for Armando Broja is really close and it will be permanent deal. 🚨⚒️ #WHUFC

“Broja is now pushing, that’s why he’s flying back to England.”

“Details of the official bid submitted by West Ham for Broja: £30m total fee. Waiting for Chelsea answer, then buy back/future sale percentage will be discussed. ⚒️🇦🇱 #WHUFC

“Chelsea decision expected soon with Thomas Tuchel also involved.”

Thomas Tuchel recently ruled off a permanent sale, and wants Broja to prove himself in pre-season.

“Armando is our player first of all and we have, at the moment, no interest in selling him,” Tuchel told reporters about Broja.

“He is here to make an impression after he was on loan in Southampton.

“That’s his situation from where we look up front. It’s good if there’s interest as it shows us there’s talent and potential. It shows us that he is in the position to impress and become a Chelsea player.

“When will he become a Chelsea player? No one knows but hopefully as soon as possible.”
