Chelsea have completed the signing of Arsenal teenage forward Omari Hutchinson from Arsenal.
The 18-year-old forward was a key player for the Gunners youth side which finished third in Premier League 2 last season.
Known for his skill and the ability to open up defences, Omari Hutchinson featured more as a central attacking midfielder or on the right wing during his time with Arsenal. The 18-year-old can also play across the front three.
Hutchinson did not make any appearance for the senior Arsenal team, although he did feature in Mikel Arteta’s matchday squad on 10 occasions during the 2021-22 campaign.
Hutchinson has now said his farewell to the Gunners fans, as he completes a surprise move to Chelsea.
Writing on social media, he said: “Dear fans, it’s time to say goodbye.
“My experience with Arsenal has been a fantastic and memorable one.
“I will always remember my time here and the beautiful journey it has taken me on.
“This will be one to remember and never to forget.
“Arsenal made me feel most welcomed and respected, so huge thank you to all the staff and coaches and my team-mates – it’s been a real pleasure.
“Lastly, a colossal thank you to all the Arsenal fans who have supported and shown me love.
“Words cannot describe how I value, respect and love you all!”
