Chelsea signing Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco back in 2017, for a massive £40m fee.

Bakayoko got game time at Chelsea only in his first season at the club.

The Frenchman made 43 appearances across all competitions in his debut season under Antonio Conte, scoring three goals and winning the FA Cup.

Bakayoko has not played for Chelsea since the 2017/18 season, and has been out on a series of loans.

Bakayoko has spent consecutive seasons at AC Milan, Monaco, Napoli and then again at AC Milan, where he won the Serie A title in the last campaign.

Bakayoko is now finally set to leave Chelsea for the first time on a permanent basis.

According to French publication Foot Mercato, Bakayoko could make a permanent move away from Chelsea, with the report claiming that Marseille have agreed personal terms with the Chelsea midfielder.

Marseille boss Igor Tudor is hoping to clinch this transfer, but is yet to get a final approval from the board, the report adds.

Valencia is also in the race for Bakayoko.

One thing is for sure – Bakayoko will eventually leave Chelsea this summer.
