Chelsea have been linked with a number of defensive targets this summer.
The Blues have already secured the signing of Kalidou Koulibaly in defence, and some reports claim Thomas Tuchel is targeting two more centre-backs.
Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe has been linked with a summer transfer move to Chelsea.
Kimpembe has two years left on his contract with PSG, and so far isn’t keen on extending his contract.
Kimpembe has grown into a top player for PSG since breaking into the team from the academy, but the Frenchman is no longer settled at the club.
According to reports, Chelsea have reportedly been told that they will have to pay €50m (£43m) if they wish to sign Presnel Kimpembe this summer.
New Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier has admitted that he has laughed off the reports with Kimpembe.
On the deal, Galtier told L’Equipe: “I’ve read everything that has been said about Kimpembe.
“We even laughed about it together!”
However, Galtier admitted that he cannot guarantee Kimpembe’s future at PSG.
He added: “I like him – he’s a great centre-back but what will happen, I don’t know.”
