Manchester City and Liverpool have dominated the Premier League for the past five years, and the two have raised the bar in the league.
Many are tipping City and Liverpool to compete again for the title next season.
However, Liverpool legend Graeme Souness, has warned that Chelsea shouldn’t be written off, as he adds that even Tottenham have strengthened well.
Asked whether the Premier League is set for another two-horse title race, Graeme Souness told Sky Bet: “No, I don’t think so.
“Manchester City and Liverpool will be the outstanding favourites but I think you’ve got to factor Chelsea into the argument as well.
“I think Spurs have got a determination and a doggedness about them that I’ve not seen since the early days of Mauricio Pochettino.”
When pressed to make his title prediction, Souness added: “I think Liverpool will win it after coming so close last year.”
Former Chelsea skipper John Terry has revealed he’s tipping City to win the league next season, especially with their signing of Erling Haaland.
Terry said: “Man City are too good in my opinion. Haaland will be huge for them.”
