Armando Broja is now set to fly out to the USA this week to join up with the rest of the Chelsea squad for their pre-season tour.
The Chelsea team are currently training in Los Angeles ahead of games against Club America, Charlotte FC, and Arsenal.
Armando Broja was left out of the Chelsea squad when it was announced on Saturday amid uncertainty surrounding his future.
According to The Athletic, there has been no significant progress on a deal for the Albanian international, who has attracted massive interest after his loan spell with Southampton.
Broja impressed on loan at Southampton last season and has attracted interest from Everton and West Ham, with Southampton and Newcastle also said to be monitoring his situation.
The 20-year-old striker will now prove himself in the upcoming friendly games, as Chelsea prepare for the new season.
Neither N’Golo Kante nor Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been included in their squad ahead of the club’s pre-season tour of America, as they are yet to get vaccinated.
Current regulations in the US stipulate that anyone wanting to enter the country must have taken the Covid-19 vaccination.
