Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has become accustomed to being linked with a move away from Chelsea every summer.

Jorginho moved to Chelsea in 2018, as he sealed a transfer move from Napoli worth over £50m.

Signed by Maurizio Sarri, the Italy international was a key component in Sarri-ball, but wasn’t needed by Frank Lampard.

Under Frank Lampard, Jorginho was edging away from the team, before the appointment of Thomas Tuchel.

Jorginho became a key player yet again under Thomas Tuchel, and is now being linked with a move away this summer.

Jorginho who has a year left on his contract with Chelsea, has revealed that he loves the club and is going nowhere this summer.

He said: “Of course [I would stay longer], I love Chelsea,” Jorginho said at Chelsea’s training camp in Los Angeles.

“I feel very well here and of course, I’d like to stay. But you know, a lot is going on and we don’t know. I have a contract and I love to be here. So I don’t think about moving anywhere.”

The 31-year-old was then asked about a probable move to Italy.

On the prospect of returning to Italy, he added: “Every single year [there’s speculation]! I don’t think like this. I just think about where I am and focus 100 per cent.”
