Chelsea have now completed the signing of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
The England international will become the club’s first signing of the transfer window.
Chelsea have already reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Raheem Sterling in a deal worth £47.5 million.
Sterling had also agreed personal terms with Chelsea on a five-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.
With his medicals now completed, and all the paperwork signed, we await an official confirmation from the club.
Fabrizio Romano also confirmed the deal as he wrote on Twitter: “Raheem Sterling has completed main part of medical tests in London yesterday, contract signed until June 2027 plus option for further season as new Chelsea player. Matter of time for the official statement. #CFC
“It’s all signed also between clubs with Manchester City.”
Sterling spent seven years at City, and he scored 131 goals in 339 appearances for the reigning Premier League champions.
Sterling joins Chelsea with a wealth of experience, having won four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and three League Cups.
