Back in 2017, a funny clip of Eden Hazard imitating Raheem Sterling went viral.
Sterling has a funny way of running, and Hazard took a dig at the Manchester City player in training.
Interestingly, the then viral clip has resurfaced, as Sterling is set to become a Chelsea player.
Sterling himself accepts being the butt of this joke, and is already used to being mocked by teammates.
“My mum went to my little brother’s sports day. She sent me a clip of her running and I thought, ‘OK, that’s where I get it from’,” he told talkSPORT.
“I’d never seen her run before. So it’s my mum – don’t laugh! Before my mum had my sister she was in the Jamaican athletics team.
“I don’t think my running style is something I would like to pass on though – I will just take all of everyone else’s laughter on myself.”
Chelsea have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Raheem Sterling in a deal worth £47.5 million.
Raheem Sterling has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea on a five-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.
The 27-year-old is set to become the highest earner at Chelsea, as he’s agreed terms to a deal of £300k per week.
A medical is believed to have taken place in London, and an announcement is imminent.
You can’t predict, Chelsea is a club with full of suprise. They have what it’s to win trophies.
