Juventus defender tells Chelsea star to move to Juve

Chelsea star Christian Pulisic is one of the team’s forward players that have been linked with an exit from the club.

The American international has had a season of ups and downs, and many would say he hasn’t been consistent enough over the past two years.

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has urged Pulisic to join the Old Lady ahead of next season.

With Federico Chiesa having been out injured since January, Chiellini believes Juventus still need to add more depth in the forward area.

Despite the signing of Angel Di Maria, Chiellini has recommended a deal for winger, Christian Pulisic.

“Honestly, it is the first time I heard it, but I think Juventus needs a winger like Pulisic,” Chiellini told ESPN’s Futbol Americas.

“Pulisic is very good, I think when he starts from the side and comes inside, and with the injury of Chiesa, he [will] surely still return, but not before September, and in the first months, surely he can play every game.

“With the [arrival] of Angel Di Maria, Pulisic could be the fantastic third winger for Juventus. He has improved year by year, he had a fantastic season in Chelsea.”

Meanwhile, Christian Pulisic’s dad, Mark, had hinted at a likely exit from Chelsea late last season.

Mark Pulisic took to Twitter after his son played just 22 minutes in Chelsea’s 1-0 loss at Everton.

He wrote: “The sad thing is he loves the club, teammates, and London… puts his heart and soul into being a pro. Onwards and upwards my boy… big six months ahead..”
