Romelu Lukaku has completed a loan move back to Inter Milan just after one season at Chelsea.

Lukaku started off his season strongly at Chelsea, and scored three goals in his first three games before his season started to drop off.

Lukaku ended the season with only 15 goals in over 40 appearances, with 8 goals coming in the Premier League.

Lukaku has since admitted his unhappiness at Chelsea and spoke about a likely return to Inter Milan, in a controversial interview with Sky Italia last December.

Lukaku has now shared a cryptic message on Instagram which many perceive to be a dig at Chelsea:

“Ima probably show you I’m solid first and if the energy ain’t right, Ima show you how easy it is to cut ties, no more tries. Gone…”

These are lyrics from the song Scorpio by rapper Moneybagg Yo but it’s clear to see how it connects to Chelsea.

Former Premier League manager Neil Warnock has slammed the signings of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku, and was pleased with the departure of the two big money signings from the Premier League.

“Good riddance, that’s what I say,” the former Sheffield United, Crystal Palace and Cardiff City boss told talkSPORT.

“I think both of them are all about “me, me, me” and not the team or the club. They’re the type who score a goal, kiss the badge and then they’ve transferred next week.

“I don’t miss people like that. I didn’t think he [Pogba] did anything at Man United and I don’t think he’s [Lukaku] done anything at Chelsea.

“Yes, Lukaku scored a couple of a good goals, but his teammates will be far better without him.

“The manager is quite lucky because he hasn’t got to worry about him. I think Tuchel will be quite pleased about it.”
