The Chelsea team have flown to Los Angeles where Thomas Tuchel and his players will begin a week-long training camp.
Chelsea will play Club America in Las Vegas next Saturday, before playing another pre-season game against Charlotte in the Bank of America Stadium and then end the tour with a London derby against Arsenal in Orlando on July 23.
The pre-season games will give Thomas Tuchel the opportunity to observe his squad ahead of next season.
Chelsea have confirmed their squad for the tour of US, and some big names have been excluded.
Neither N’Golo Kante nor Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been included in their squad ahead of the club’s pre-season tour of America.
Current regulations in the US stipulate that anyone wanting to enter the country must have taken the Covid-19 vaccination.
Loftus-Cheek and Kante are yet to take the vaccination, and will remain at Cobham while the rest of the team battle it out in the US.
“N’Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will not travel due to their Covid vaccination status,” Chelsea confirmed in a statement after announcing the 29-man squad that will tour US.
