A survey conducted by OLBG has ranked the most happiest fans in the Premier League.

The survey was conducted by looking at the average likes each top-flight team received on their Twitter and Instagram accounts, as well as taking the ratio of “love” reactions to “angry” reactions on content published about them on Facebook from BuzzSumo.

According to the data, Liverpool fans are the happiest fans in the Premier League, while Chelsea fans come in third.

Liverpool have a fan happiness score of 7.88 with their closest competitors, Aston Villa, averaging a score of 7.14. Chelsea come third with a fan rating of 6.53.

While Chelsea fans may generally be happy, the Blues fans may not be happy with the lack of transfer activities ahead of the new season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are set to sign Raheem Sterling this summer.

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson is backing the deal for Raheem Sterling, and he believes the England international will be a great signing for Chelsea.

He wrote in a column for Sky Sports: “I think Sterling would be a great signing. I would worry about Man City selling Sterling as you’re selling a lot of goals. People always go to me, ‘He’s always at the far post tapping them in’.

“He’s not pushing anybody out the way to tap those goals in. There’s an art to what he does and he will be a massive miss to Man City next season if he leaves.

“I think if Chelsea went and got him, I think that would be a major signing, especially when you’re getting a top-quality international footballer who is at one of the top teams in the world.”
