Chelsea have been linked with a number of transfer targets, but so far, none has worked.

There’s still a long way to go before the end of the transfer window, even though Chelsea fans can’t wait to see the club do some serious business.

With some deals in the pipeline, and Raphinha deal taking a hit, a move for Raheem Sterling is expected to be wrapped up soon enough.

Chelsea are very close to finalising a £45 million deal for Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling.

Reports also comfim that Sterling is preparing to leave City for Chelsea this summer, and the Manchester City attacker  has already put his house up for sale.

The Mirror claims Sterling appears to be planning for life after Man City and is negotiating to sell his £4.5million house to Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Chelsea are also closing in on a move for former Blue Nathan Ake.

According to Sky Sports, Thomas Tuchel has been an admirer of Nathan Ake from his time at Borussia Dortmund, and would like for the Man City defender to return to Chelsea to bolster the club’s defensive options.

The move for Ake seems to be Thomas Tuchel’s signing, as he sees the former Chelsea defender as the best replacement for the departed Antonio Rudiger.

The 27-year-old can slot in on the left side of a back three – a position that was handled by Antonio Rudiger, and he can as well fill in at left-back and in midfield, which makes the deal particularly attractive for Thomas Tuchel.

So far, there have been no hindrance in Chelsea’s move for Raheem Sterling and Nathan Ake, with Sterling deal expected to be completed this week.
