Everton boss Frank Lampard is looking to raid Chelsea this summer.

The Chelsea legend had done so in the past, as he added to the growth and development of Chelsea’s academy products Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori.

The former Blues midfielder and manager is hoping to sign two Chelsea midfielders on loan to join him at Everton, in this transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, Lampard is hoping to sign Billy Gilmour and Conor Gallagher.

Both players spent the entire 2021/2022 season on loan, with Gilmour going on loan to Norwich, while Gallagher joined Crystal Palace.

Billy Gilmour and Conor Gallagher are highly rated by the club, and a lot is expected of them in the near future.

Lampard will offer the duo regular first team football, as their path to a starting spot may be significantly more challenging at Chelsea.

Following last season’s performance, Gallagher may have won his way into Thomas Tuchel’s squad.

Speaking towards the end of last season, Tuchel admitted Conor Gallagher may have a role to play in the Chelsea team.

Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s FA Cup semi-final against the Eagles, Tuchel had a message for the midfielder, saying: “I believe that Conor can be a part of our squad and can play a role with us but I’m not the only one to decide.

“We need to speak after the season with everybody and we need to see what Conor wants. We need to see what the situation is, what role we have for him and what he can fight for because you need something to fight for.

“You need to have a role and a perspective about where you are, where you can be and what to achieve. We have to be very clear with him, he needs to be clear with us and we will sort it out.”
