Chelsea have been linked with some attacking targets this summer, as Thomas Tuchel seeks to improve his squad ahead of next season.
Chelsea have been linked with Raphinha, Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele.
Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf has rated the three attackers being linked with a move to the club.
“If [Hakim] Ziyech stays, I don’t see the point of getting Raphinha because they’re so [similar] to me,” the former France international told ESPN FC.
“But if Ziyech leaves, why not? I saw him play for Rennes and Leeds, and he’s interesting.
“Sterling… I don’t know — I still have [my reservations] about him. He’s been good and played many games — more than 40 — for Manchester City last season, but sometimes he can be so clumsy.
“Dembele… the inconsistency of his football…
“Of course, the talent is there, but consistency is what we want to see.”
Of all the attacking targets, it’s seeming like Chelsea may only be able to sign Raheem Sterling at the moment.
Raphinha’s heart is targeted at Barcelona, even though Chelsea and Leeds United have reached an agreement for the Brazilian.
Ousmane Dembele, on his part, is well aware of the interest from Chelsea, but has baulked at the contract offer from the Blues.
According to reports, Dembele was left disappointed by Chelsea’s contract proposal and could now reconsider the offer on the table from Barcelona.
