Chelsea signed Ghana international Baba Abdul Rahman for £20million back in 2015 from German side Augsburg.
Rahman, now 27, is looking for an exit from the club after 7 years as a Chelsea player.
The Chelsea left-back has gone on to make only 15 Premier League appearances for Chelsea since he signed up for the club, and has spent most of his time at the club out on loan.
Baba Rahman has expressed his desire to play with Argentina superstar Lionel Messi.
Baba Rahman has admitted that if he had to choose between Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, he would prefer to play with the Argentine star.
He said to TV3 Sports: “It’s a difficult question [choosing between Ronaldo and Messi]. They have their strengths. [If I had to play with one], I would choose Messi.
“His final passes, hold-up play, and movement are unique.
“[I would play] right-wing. It feels so satisfying watching a left-footer cutting inside and curling the ball into the net.”
Rahman has returned to Chelsea after playing for Reading on loan. He will look to impress Thomas Tuchel ahead of the new campaign.
The long-time Chelsea defender is set to join the Blues’ pre-season squad, hoping to impress manager Thomas Tuchel.
It’s yet to be seen if Rahman has a future at the club, and he’d most likely be sold this summer.
