Brazilian international Raphinha, is believed to be closing in on a move to Chelsea.

Confirmed reports have it that Chelsea have gate-crashed Arsenal’s bid to sign Raphinha from Leeds United after agreeing a £60million deal for the Brazilian.

Arsenal were believed to be leading the race for Raphinha and held talks with Leeds United on Tuesday.

However, the Gunners initial offer was rejected by Leeds, before Chelsea came into the race and upped their offer which was immediately accepted by Leeds.

However, the agent of the Brazilian was spotted at Barcelona’s office on Wednesday.

Raphinha’s agent is Deco who was a hero at Barcelona during his playing days.

The veteran midfielder was spotted at the Spanish side’s office, and may have been making one last push with Barcelona’s hierarchy on Wednesday.

Deco was spotted leaving Barcelona’s offices alongside the club’s director of football Mateu Alemany and Enric Masip, advisor to Barca president Joan Laporta.

Reporter Gerard Romero has claimed that Barcelona are still in the race to sign Raphinha from Leeds United.

Reputable reporter Fabrizio Romano has updated on Raphinha and has now given his take on Deco’s visit to Barcelona.

According to Romano, Chelsea have a meeting with Deco on Thursday to finalise personal terms for Raphinha.

Fabrizio Romano also confirmed that Raphinha had previously agreed terms with Barcelona, and Barca will fight until the last to sign the Brazilian international.
