Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for Manchester City star Raheem Sterling.
The deal for Sterling, may not be the only transfer deal Chelsea may make for a Man City player this summer.
According to reports, Raheem Sterling may not be the only Man City player Chelsea could sign this summer.
The Athletic has confirmed that Chelsea have opened talks with Manchester City over the prospect of a double deal for Raheem Sterling and Nathan Ake.
Their report claims that co-owner Todd Boehly contacted the Premier League champions on Monday to check on their valuation of both players, with Chelsea keen to sign both.
According to Sky Sports, Thomas Tuchel has been an admirer of Nathan Ake from his time at Borussia Dortmund, and would like for the Man City defender to return to Chelsea to bolster the club’s defensive options.
The move for Ake seems to be Thomas Tuchel’s signing, as he sees the former Chelsea defender as the best replacement for the departed Antonio Rudiger.
The 27-year-old can slot in on the left side of a back three – a position that was handled by Antonio Rudiger, and he can as well fill in at left-back and in midfield, which makes the deal particularly attractive for Thomas Tuchel.
The report further claims that Ake has moved towards the top of Chelsea’s list of potential defensive signings.

As for Raheem Sterling, the England international has emerged as one of Chelsea’s top attacking targets for some time now and has already been contacted by head coach Thomas Tuchel.
