According to reports, Arsenal have won the race for Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus.
The 25-year-old was linked with a move to Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea, but it’s the Gunners who are now close to signing the Brazilian.
Arsenal will complete a £50m deal for the Manchester City striker in the next seven to ten days, according to reports.
Former England international Darren Bent has rather urged Arsenal to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku is set to leave Chelsea for a season-long loan deal with Inter Milan, and he has agreed to take a pay cut to see the deal happen.
Darren Bent believes Lukaku would bang in the goals for Arsenal, despite his poor season at Chelsea.
Speaking on talkSPORT Drive, Bent said: “I’d take Lukaku on loan, 100%. I’d be over the moon.
“I look at Lukaku and I think he wants to go somewhere where he’s going to feel most loved, and at Inter Milan he was fantastic.
“He scored a lot of goals and felt the passion from the Inter fans.
“The fact that he’s clamoring to get back there and taking a 25 per cent pay cut, it almost looks like he can’t get out of this country quick enough.”
Asked who he’d rather sign out of Lukaku and Jesus, Bent said: “Lukaku, I would.
“I’ve seen him score goals regularly. He’s in the 100 club!”
