Chelsea winger Willian has struggled to find his best form for Chelsea this season with just four goals in as many appearances so far this campaign.

The Brazilian has been a key player this season and has featured in almost every game for Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri, but his form has been below par more often than not.

Barcelona have always been interested in the Brazilian, and according to reports, the Spanish giants had offered their Brazilian winger Malcom plus cash for Willian but Chelsea have rejected the bid.

Maurizio Sarri is looking to strengthen his team this January transfer window, but he has revealed that Willian isn’t for sale. However, the Chelsea boss has told the Brazilian to improve on his movements as Willian tends to hog the ball a little too much.

Asked if he wants Willian to leave Chelsea, Sarri replied: “Of course not, he is a very important player.

“I think he can do better, he can do better because the potential is higher. But he is really very important for us so it is impossible to lose him in January.

“Usual he wants the ball on the feet, I think he can improve in the movements without the ball and he has the potential to score more.”

Another Chelsea player Sarri is keen on not losing is Blues youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi. Bayern Munich have strong interest in the 18-year-old, and the German champions have submitted a third bid of £35m for the Chelsea academy product.

Sarri has accused Bayern Munich of being disrespectful in their pursuit of Hudson-Odoi, with Bayern’s director of sport Hasan Salihamidzic recently revealing the German club wants to sign the 18-year-old.

Asked if he was annoyed about the way that Bayern Munich have dealt with the Hudson-Odoi situation, Sarri told reporters: “I think that it is not professional because they are talking about a player under contract with Chelsea so they didn’t respect our club. Then I don’t know what to say I don’t know the situation.

“I am happy with the player because he is improving, improving a lot in the defensive have. Now he needs to improve in some movements without the ball but he is working very well at the moment so I am very happy with the player and would like to have him in the future.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
