Chelsea’s form has dropped recently and the Blues have now lost two of their last three league games.
There seems to be more for Maurizio Sarri to worry about after a really disappointing night for the Blues away at the Molineux Stadium as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat to Wolves having taken the lead through Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Chelsea’s fight for the Premier League title might be all but over after the defeat to Wolves, and the Blues are now 10 points behind leaders, Manchester City.
The fight for the top four is intense, as Chelsea are fourth on the table and level on points with Arsenal, with Tottenham two points ahead.
Up next for Chelsea is an in-form Manchester City side who are yet to lose a single league game.
Sarri has hailed City as the best in Europe ahead of the clash.
He said: “No. As I said before City are the best in Europe, maybe in the world, they can win the Champions League, but it depends on moments. If you have to play against them for ten months they are the best in the world at the moment.
“After this match we lost confidence, but maybe it is better. Sometimes my players show me they have too much confidence.”
City are winning games and scoring goals for fun, and Sarri has said that they are in a class of their own.
He said: “As I said before, City are in another category. They are not in our category. We have to play and to fight to be in the top four I think.
“The result is very difficult for this. In every match you have to gain points. I lost Serie A with 91 points, so I know every match you have to gain points.”
