Chelsea played a goalless draw with West Ham at the London Stadium and despite having over 70% possession of the ball, the Blues were unable to get the ball past Lukasz Fabianski and thus putting an end to Chelsea’s perfect start to the season.

See the ratings from the game below:

Kepa: Made a good save in the first half from a Michail Antonio effort, and was rarely tested after that. 6/10

Luiz: Kept the ball well, but was sloppy at times and had a difficult game against Antonio. 6/10

Rudiger: Had a solid game in defence before being taken off with 20 minutes left of the game due to injury. 6/10

Alonso: Wasn’t in his usual form on the left flank as he didn’t do enough going forward. 5/10

Azpilicueta: The pace of Felipe Anderson troubled him at times and he didn’t always provide a good outlet for the team to attack down the right. 5/10

Jorginho: Played a couple of over the top balls to Hazard and Giroud, but unfortunately none was converted. 6/10

Kante: Wasn’t the best of games for the Frenchman, and he blasted a good opportunity over the bar that could have led to a Chelsea goal. 5/10

Kovacic: Started the game well, but faded out as he couldn’t break through a tight West Ham defence. 6/10

Hazard: Showed his tricks at times, but the Hammers defence were up to the task. Not the best of games today. 6/10

Willian: Went missing at times, had some good spells but couldn’t penetrate West Ham’s defence. 5/10

Giroud: Had a couple of good link-up plays, worked hard, missed a chance in the first half but didn’t offer much in the second period before being subbed off. 5/10

Subs

Morata: Came on for Giroud and had one good effort saved by Fabianski. Didn’t do much afterwards. 5/10

Cahill: Replaced the injured Christensen, and slotted in well. 6/10

Barkley: Came on for Barkley with 10 minutes left, and had a good shot saved by Fabianski. Was lively after coming on. 6/10

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
