Venue: Nou Camp

Chelsea travel to Nou Camp for the second leg of the Champions League round of sixteen clash against Barcelona.

With the first leg ending 1-1 at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have an uphill task against the Spanish giants at the difficult Nou Camp ground. But the good news is that Barcelona haven’t beaten Chelsea at the Nou Camp in the last four games played in front of their home fans, and two of those games ended 2-2 – a result that will ensure Chelsea qualify for the next round.

Chelsea must score at least once against Ernesto Valverde’s La Liga leaders to stand any chance of progressing.

This fixture is evenly poised and always hotly contested as six meetings between the two sides have ended in a draw while both sides have won five times apiece.

Both sides enter this game at the back of victories, as Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at home, and Barca won 2-0 away at Malaga.

Barca are in terrific form at the Camp Nou and have not lost a game since their Supercopa defeat to Real Madrid last August.

The Catalan outfit have failed to defeat to Chelsea in their last eight meetings, and Lionel Messi only scored for the first time against the Blues last month.

Chelsea might be heavy underdogs for this fixture but the Blues showed in the first leg that they can cause Ernesto Valverde’s men serious problems.
