Olivier Giroud was given another opportunity in the starting lineup for Chelsea’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace.

The Blues won the game 2-1, and Giroud could easily have scored a hatrick but for ill luck.

Giroud started upfront alongside Willian and Eden Hazard, and the France international admitted that he enjoyed his link-up with Hazard and Willian.

“I think I’m adapting well, I try to have a good understanding on the pitch with the number 10s like Eden and Willian,” said Giroud.

“We did some great movements. We could, and should, have scored more goals but as long as you are getting chances to score it means you are creating spaces so that’s good. Now we need more efficiency and a bit of luck.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
