Eden Hazard was very dangerous against Crystal Palace and he tried to unselfishly set up his teammates on many occasions.

Olivier Giroud was very dangerous today but was unlucky not to get a goal. The France international hit the woodwork and had a ball cleared on the line.

After the game, Antonio Conte hailed Hazard and Giroud for their performance.

The chelsea boss said: “We must be pleased for Olivier’s commitment. He hit the post and in the first half a defender cleared a chance [off the line], he was a bit unlucky.

“Eden played a good game and he had chances to score but we didn’t take a lot of the chances we created. The commitment of all my players was good so we must be very happy.”
