Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has earned a place in the 2019 Guinness World Book of Records.
Fabregas entered a place in the record book after becoming the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League assists.
Fabregas reached 100 Premier League assists in just 293 games and the landmark assist came on 31 December 2016, when he set up Willian in a resounding 4-2 win over Stoke City.
Speaking after receiving the award, Fabregas said: “I’m not the fastest, I’m not the strongest, I’m not the most flexible, I don’t jump high.
“But to achieve this record in my career is one of the proudest things in my job, because it is my job and I did it well.”
