Chelsea new goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga insists he has the ability to justify the world-record £72million fee Chelsea paid to sign him.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who signed a seven-year deal with Chelsea to replace Thibaut Courtois, insists the fee will not weigh heavy on his shoulder.
“It’s very brave from the club to sign me. In terms of the price, in terms of being the most expensive keeper in the world, it’s something I don’t think about,” Kepa said.
“I must go to be myself and try to give my best to the club. I don’t really think about the price.
“I just think Chelsea have made a great bet in taking me. I don’t think there will be additional pressure for me. The only pressure I experience is the pressure I put on myself.”
